Daniel Pink on the surprising science of motivation

Career analyst Dan Pink makes a solid, evidence based case to prove that there is a “mismatch between what science knows and what business does.” He proves his case by explaining that monetary incentives that businesses often employ to “sharpen thinking and accelerate creativity do just the opposite.” Despite this 40 year old proven research, that academics know all too well, businesses have decided to ignore the facts in favor of their traditional methods.
